An independent student is defined as a student who is age 24 or older; has a child; is married; is a ward of the court; is serving in the U.S. military; or whose parents are both deceased.

4. Review your award letter in your E-Services account: SpartanNet>E-Services>Financial Aid>Award Letter. You will receive an email when your award letter is ready.
