Visiting student admissions

If you are interested in taking less than seven credits at M State and are not seeking a degree, please use the Visiting Student Application. As a visiting student, you are not required to attend a registration event. You will sign up for your courses directly on the Visiting Student Application and will receive a confirmation with your class schedule as soon as it is processed. Visiting students are not eligible for financial aid through M State. If you are also enrolled at another ¿ì²¥³ÉÈË, however, you may be eligible through that institution. Check with your home institution's financial aid department about requesting a consortium agreement.

International student admissions

An international student is defined as a person who is not a U.S. citizen or U.S. immigrant and is seeking admission to ¿ì²¥³ÉÈË State Community and Technical College. Permanent residents, refugees and political asylees only need to complete the general admission process. I-20 forms, authorizing admission into the United States for educational purposes, will be issued when all admission requirements are met and applicants have been accepted to the ¿ì²¥³ÉÈË.

PSEO student admissions

M State welcomes high school students who enroll through the Postsecondary Enrollment Options program. Success in ¿ì²¥³ÉÈË depends on how well students adjust to ¿ì²¥³ÉÈË-level classes and the responsibilities of ¿ì²¥³ÉÈË attendance. All prospective PSEO students must prior to the application deadline and complete the required ¿ì²¥³ÉÈË Department of Education (MDE) form.

Selective program admissions

Students interested in programs with selective admissions processes must complete a program application prior to stated deadlines. Please visit the program's page to review the application packet and complete an online program application.

¿ì²¥³ÉÈË State Community and Technical College (M State) is an open entry institution offering transfer and career and technical programs in the following areas of study:

M State is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in employment and education opportunity. Lack of English skills will not be a barrier to admission or participation. In order to eliminate barriers we take appropriate measures to assess each student's ability to participate and benefit through placement testing and counseling. Based on the assessment and counseling, students are then provided with campus services or a referral to community services to be better prepared for successful participation.
